Last month I was asked if I would like to do a Glossybox review. I felt like a little kid waiting for Christmas. It’s fun to get packages in the first place, but I was stoked to be getting a box full of stuff just for me! And beauty products, no less!
I’ve been trying to work on myself lately and take a bit of time for me here and there, and the July GlossyBox helped me take it to a whole new level.
The box included:
Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm (Peppermint) I don’t leave home without it. It smells great, gives my lips a nice shine, and I love how the peppermint feels. One of the reasons I don’t usually wear stuff on my lips is because it’s tastes so gross. This stuff doesn’t. I love it.
Face Stockholm Eye Liner It says lip liner, but I received eye liner. All the better! I love eye liner. The color I got is brown. It goes on nicely and it just happens to be perfect for my eye color. I have enjoyed revisiting my early days of wearing make-up with brown eye liner. I’m loving the new look.
Sesha Skin Therapy Anti-Wrinkle Mask
I gave this one to my mom to try out because on the package it said, “for mature skin.” She tried it out and it looked pretty scary. I’ll keep the photos to myself… She said she didn’t notice any wrinkles disappear, but she likes how it made her face really soft.
Kueshi Anti-Cellulite Booster I LOVE this stuff. As far as cellulite goes, I know I have it, but I don’t look at it, so I can’t vouch for any improvement there. But, this lotion makes my legs feel so nice! It doesn’t feel greasy, but it takes a moment to completely soak in. And I didn’t notice at first, but there’s the slightest shimmer left on the legs. Now, I’m not a glitter type of girl, but this is so subtle, I love it. It makes me feel like a lady. Ha!
Hey Honey Face Peel I have to admit, I had no clue how this stuff was supposed to work. It’s called a face peel, but you rub it on for a few minutes, then wash it off. I thought with face peels you put it on, let it dry, then peel it off. With “Hey Honey,” when you first start rubbing, it feels like you’re putting honey on your face. Once it starts to feel more like oil, you rub for about 2-3 minutes, then you wash it off. It made my skin feel so fresh and clean! It was an incredible exfoliant without painful peeling or scrubbing.
Everything I got in my box was full sized versions of the product. I was amazed!
The company sums up their subscription box perfectly:
“GLOSSYBOX is the perfect beauty surprise – for friends, loved ones, even yourself! For $21 per month, you’ll get a beautifully wrapped box containing five deluxe-sized beauty products delivered directly to your doorstep.”
When I received mine in the mail, I thought surely it was out of my price range. But honestly, for only $21, it is more than worth it-and we deserve it!!
**Disclosure-I received a July Glossybox in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.
