Flowers From Bloomsy Box

Posted in Review by

I adore flowers. What woman doesn’t? My all time favorite flowers are orchids. I wouldn’t be able to keep them alive as a plant, but I can certainly enjoy them as a bouquet for a few weeks.

I’ve been married to my amazing husband for 11 years and he has gotten me flowers maybe 4 times. But that’s ok! The flowers he doesn’t get me, he makes up for in chocolate. Besides that, when he does get them for me, it’s a huge surprise!!

Sometimes when I’m at the store, I get them for myself. They so easily brighten up my day and in turn, they brighten up any room.

So needless to say, I was thrilled when Bloomsy Box contacted me about sending me a bouquet of flowers.

Bloomsy Box is a subscription flower delivery service. You pay for your subscription and you get a bouquet of flowers delivered to your door every month. (And yes, I was practically stalking the FedEx guy…)

Now, I’m going to be honest here. I poked around on their Instagram page a bit while I was eagerly awaiting my blooms. I saw they send out a variety of flowers and that just got me even more excited.

When my box arrived I could hardly contain myself long enough to take this picture.Flowers from BloomsyboxCan you tell? Ha!

When I opened the box, my first thought was “Roses? Really?” roses from bloomsyboxBut then I picked them up. I don’t know what it is about roses, but suddenly I felt all fluttery and giddy. Is it because roses are considered the most “romantic” of all flowers and its ingrained in us to feel this way when we touch them?

I don’t know, either way, I was smitten. I am now the proud owner of a gorgeous bouquet of two dozen roses. And I’ve gotta say, they look pretty darn good on my piano.roses from bloomsyboxThe only thing I shared with the company that I thought could be improved on was including a note telling the receiver what type of flowers they were getting. I knew they were roses, but what kind? And where are they from?

The good folks at Bloomsy Box got back to me right away and thanked me for my suggestion and said they were actually working on it. So they were already on top of it!

A few words from the company:

Seasons change and so will your Bloomsy Box!

We’re really choosy about what goes into your box…and how it arrives at your door. From selecting only the finest seasonal blooms or traditionally beautiful bouquets, every bloom will be carefully cosseted in our signature Box for a flawless arrival at your door!

You can find more information on their website at You can also follow them on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

I recently fell back in love with roses, especially the peach colored ones. Yes, they can be cliche, but there’s no denying that they had a sudden elegance and air sophistication to a room once you set them out. Will have to check out Bloomsy Box.

I was just saying how much I love having fresh flowers in the house. They instantly change my mood, especially as the seasons change. I have never thought about a monthly delivery before. But those blooms looks spectacular, so I will have to check this out. Thanks for the review!
