Sometimes the prettiest things are inexpensive and SIMPLE. I love adding little touches to things that end up looking super fancy, but only took me minutes to put together.
As I was wrapping a baby shower gift for my daughter’s teacher last week, I thought it looked too plain.
Since I was using tissue paper for the wrapping paper, I was reminded of the Pom Poms I made for my daughter’s room to decorate. I thought maybe I could make a super cute, simple gift decor for this present!
So I did. And I loved it so much, I made video on how to do it!
Use either a full sheet or half sheets of the tissue paper. You want to have a minimum of six sheets stacked on top of each other.[Tweet “This simple party decor is so easy to make and so gorgeous!”]
Once you’ve finished folding, you have to secure it with something. For the large Pom Poms, you’ll need to use something sturdier than the thread in the video. I would suggest twine, or string.
Be sure to leave a long piece of string so you can hang the decoration easily (1).
Then very carefully pull a sheet out on one side (2).
Next, turn it over, and pull the sheet out on that side (3).
This Simple Party Decor is so pretty, and with a simple change of the colors, so versatile!
